Discussion Questions - Set 2
1.) How does prayer make life better for you?
2.) How consistent is your prayer life? What prevents you from praying on days when you don't?
P.S. - Reminder: This week we are reading Chapter 3: The Genius of Catholicism, pages 75-106.
1.) Prayer makes life better for me in that it constantly reminds me that I am not in control, God is. It is a time when I can reflect on what is happening in my life and what things I need to work on in order to continue being a better version of myself and grow in holiness. It is a time when I can tell God my worries and attempt to surrender them to Him (which is not always successful, so I'm definitely a work in progress.) Is is a time when I can really reflect on all the things I am learning about my faith and truly understand what a gift it is.
ReplyDelete2.) I would say that my prayer life is pretty consistent, but there is definitely room for improvement. I think that I often find I don't pray on days on weekend when I have less of a morning routine since weekends can be a bit more unpredictable. There are also more distractions with my husband being home and getting ready for any activities that we might have planned.
