Hi Book Clubbers,
Chapter 4 was all about generosity....generosity of time, talent and treasure. I think for young adults this is probably one of the more challenging signs of being a dynamic Catholic. Current culture tells us that we need to work hard at our careers, to earn and save money so we can be "successful". This chapter gave some really easy ways where we can incrementally increase our generosity in a way that doesn't seem to be as challenging.
Discussion Questions - Set 1
1.) What are you grateful for at this time in your life?
2.) Who is the most generous person you know? What are some examples of their generosity?
1.) I am most grateful for my family and friends. I am grateful that we are all happy, healthy and have everything that we truly need. I am grateful for my new found connection to my faith and those friends who have helped me along in my journey so far.
ReplyDelete2.) The most generous person I know is my friend Dana. She is always there for me and my family. She is always asking what she can do for us whether it be cook dinner, invite us over for dinner, watch Hailey, offer words of encouragement, or getting us something that we mentioned we might need. She is someone that does SO much for us that I often don't know how to ever repay her other than be truly thankful and continue asking her if she ever needs anything from us.
