ReplyDelete2.) Study is the sign that is the strongest in my life. Not too surprising since my Catholic Spiritual Gifts all seems to surround Administration, Knowledge, Teaching and Wisdom. I love to read and take notes in general so doing so with books centered on the Catholic faith or by Catholic authors has really expanding my knowledge of the faith and why we believe the things we do. I've also been listening to LOTS of podcasts which is another way that I can learn more whenever I am not able to sit down and read. Surrounding myself with media like this basically saturates me with positivity making it harder for the negative thoughts that often creep in to take root in my mind. One thing I do need to do more often is REFLECT on what I've read. I'm really good and regurgitating what I've learned, but less diligent about reflecting and meditating on how what I've read or heard can be applied to my life or how I can act on what I've learned.
3.) Evangelization is the weakest sign in my life. Although I am getting better at it, I still find it hard to talk to people I don't know or who I know are not religious about my faith. I'm honestly just bad in general about either talking to people I don't know about topics I'm not familiar with or on the other side of the spectrum people I'm really close to about my feelings and vulnerabilities surrounding relationships. It is a work in progress, although it seems to be very very slow progress....
